Today is the first day of the New Year! We wish everyone a Happy and Healthy 2011!

As a side note: I am finding it hard to look to the year ahead today, I am looking back on the years past, the years we had with our little Dexter...

We lost him to cancer last night and are heartbroken, I will be posting a tribute to our little guy as soon as I get the pictures together...RIP Dex

I haven't posted in a while again, thought everyone might want to see some more pictures of our new addition :-)

This was all I was able to see of him after they took him out,
he was quickly wrapped up and taken to the NICU :-(
Then due to my blood pressure I was in recovery for 24 hours,
literally stuck in a bed and therefore still unable to see him :-(

Since I was unable to see him Jared would go and visit him and send me pictures.
Here he is with the tube in his mouth still, poor baby :-(

A Tribute to a great little dog...

It was a sad day for us all this past Thursday when we had to say goodbye to our first family pet Duke. Its one of those things, you know the day is coming but you are never prepared and it never gets any easier to let go. He was about 22 years old which is really amazing, and he lived in the Peteuil household for about 18 of those years. He was the dog that all of us kids grew up with, we all loved him and will miss him very much.

I just thought it would be nice to post a few pics of Dukes younger years...
