Hello family and friends, it has been a while since I have posted anything so I thought I would write a a quick post update. As many of you probably know by now I have been added to the list of those who have lost their jobs in this economic downturn. I was laid off from Bloomingdales at the end of January, it was sad, I really did enjoy my job there, but unfortunately the last hired were the first to go, not a good time to be the newbie :-( I am still working at Pottery Barn however, but am on the look out for another full time job.
On a higher note, the same day I was laid off, we had made plans (before the lay off) to have dinner at Bobby Flay's restaurant Mesa Grill for Restaurant week. Katie and Jon had made reservations a while ago, but called and were able to extend the reservation for six so Jared and I as well as Alex and Alanna were able to join them. We were all very excited to go. We had a really nice time and enjoyed our night out with friends as usual! I unfortunately have no pics of this adventure but I will try and post some other pics we do have soon :-)
